Minneapolis Is Burning: Minneapolis has burned to the ground and under Foshay tower my broken heart’s found. We wished our lives to the grave. Pour me another cause we need to be save. There’s not much going around today. So we drink our wines to deal with it. We age in bars to deal with it. You need your books to create. We’ll sing our lives away. These feet can’t walk out of town. They’re looking for answers where none can be found. But I’ve got a light and a dream to just strike a match to the scene, press rewind, and eject the tape. These cigarette stains won’t fade away. They’ll outlast all the stupid words we say like crooked teeth, blood red with wine. We’ve burned this town. We can’t survive. We need new sound. We’ve done our best to tear this down. We cant revive without new sound. Your cracking smile, this bed of bones will grow so cold. Pretty baby, where will we sleep? The Spirit of ‘77 has bee eighty sixed with just one kiss off your pretentious lips.

Autopilot 03:26
Autopilot: Hey drag the lake we’ve lost control. We’ll crash and burn and drag and roll and speak to water color walls without breathing. This picture frame won’t bring you back. Reject it or inject it. Either way, know all of these things I’ve done for you. Goodbyes shout out and I’m without a doubt. Realize I did this all for you. Head in hands that won’t wash clean. You innocence stagnant from all of your self regrets. You said it but I meant it. Either way know all of these things I’ve done for you. Finger tips pressed to lips. Dry your eyes.
5.
When We All Fly Through Ceilings: Ten crooked fingers to hold you wrapped tight around your spine. Blue eyes, white thighs, red teeth marks. They let me know who is mine. One day we’ll all float. Don’t let go or we’ll all fly through… Wipe the sleep off of your eyes and shit off your cursing lips. Don’t dare think I don’t know his scent is in your skin. Trapped in your skin. We’ll fly straight up without a sound. Things fall apart as we break down when the world ends.
6.
No Way Out 05:17
No Way Out: Well step back because there is nothing to see. Just cuts that have no right to bleed. Finger prints trace your name backwards on the wall. Locked up in a house that is no longer home. Because this city has won this round tonight and I’ve lost my mind. Magnets resonate laughs trapped to tape. The pressure points in the walls that perforate. I’m falling down, not feeling right. I’m going to need some help to bed tonight. I’m going to need your help tonight and I’ve lost my mind.
7.
Sink Your Teeth In: You’ve got to peel back the skin and sink your teeth straight on in. Don’t tell me you don’t know what it’s like to breathe stale air in or slide skin (deep) into skin. Peel back the skin. After first blood how can I mean this much to you? When the flesh hit’s the flesh it transfers all hiding in. So come on in.
8.
Over And Out 02:34
Over And Out: Set sail without a captain on this ship. Throw him overboard. It’s sink or swim. This heart is a grave stone, empty as your head with crashing waves of sedative. Communication break down. And my reply? Over and out over and again. This heart is a tomb now. An open wound. Aim straight up to the air, recklessly without out care. We don’t need luck when we’re dead. Aim for the albatross.
9.
We're On Our Way: It’s a long road running away with a dead man by your side. Don’t speak a word. Don’t let your breath blow past your lips and I’ll stay by your side. We’ve got 16 hours, we’ve got ten sailors legs. Along the mountain side we’re on our way. Out in the van. Out on the one way dead end road. Will you wait for me? If you never tell anybody what you’ve done. If you never say a word. This drinks for you but will you wait for me? Where is your dedication for running away? I am your dedication for running away.
10.
So Much For Sobriety: Half shot glances have missed. (a bunch of emo bullshit) Watch your hand brush your hair from your right eye. Watch it fall to the hem and rest on your right thigh. So much for subtlety, loyalty, you, and me. There’s no you and me.
11.
Good Vinyl < Good Head: I Spent six whole hours locked in a steal cage. I’ve been run down south bound on the free way. It took three whole hours just to lift his legs and four to wonder if I slipped away. No sirens sound. It’s just phone calls and pressing play. Pray for the storm just to liven up the day. Your passive/aggressive tactics are all the same. You’re shaking hands and legs as screen shots fade away. So I found my home at the Pig across the way. It’s alright tonight cause I’ve been cheated out of yesterday’s. Jaded by the thoughts in my twisted brain. I’m smoking again yet so close to end game. I spent three whole days just down south rotting away and wax won’t soothe wounds. Let it be your sympathy, just us three. I’m unsatisfied. I found my home at the Pig across the way. I found my home and I’m never coming back again. I found my home.

Here’s To You: We’ll take what we can get with no surprise. Cauterize the bridge that is burned to sleep at night. And wake up o contradictions that you can’t deny. Just take this memento and say goodbye. You pull you’re puppet by it’s strings and you save your heart by killing time. But have we forgotten? With one finger in your ear to sing along watch how fast we connect with what is wrong. Close your eyes. Set your lips. Stay your tongue. Teeth clenched, fists are next, same old song. We run much faster in our heads. We’ll dream much deeper when we’re dead so here’s to you. We ain’t through. What do we lose first, the innocence or naivety? If only you’re lonely I’m lonely too. So here’s to you. We’ll take what we can get with no surprise? Nah I’ll take what I can get with no surprise.
13.
Never Sleep Again: Rewire the simple circuitry. Exploration through backroom surgery. Shaking hands hit rhythm beats to the fat that you believe. Just shut your eyes and hum your silly nursery rhymes. Just turn your back or fingers will cut to the neck. With shaking hands and silent lines I’ll fade away. What are you taught to believe when you are down on broken wing? What have you got on me? And so this is how it all ends. I leave you broke without a friend to pull your head back from the clouds. Just another ghost to haunt the house. Broken lines from Hail Mary. Mutter words from memory and fold your hands before you sleep. And wish away what you believe. With shaking god damned dead hands.
14.
Lost Limbs Won’t Grow Back: Oh baby have you ever felt this real? Your tight mouth will cut dangerous lies. Just flash the lights and close your eyes. “Friends first and ‘til the end” is your mantra to condescend. Are we so blind we’ve fallen out of step and time? Will we define the thoughts that keep our heads from bed at night? Monsters keep my head from bed at night. And we’ll learn through trial and terror with hung juries to hang ourselves. I’m knotting my own rope. But in the cellar let’s carve a witch with chainsaws and boom sticks. Yeah come on baby, lost limbs won’t grow back. “What do we do when the attack?” Dead hands won’t dig graves. They won’t bury you today. “Where will we sleep?” Crawl up next to me. “Where will we sleep?” Down on hands and knees.
